DESCRIPTION:

Wounded Glow is the chapter where beauty ceases to be atmosphere and becomes confrontation. The Emerald Sphinx holds the gaze with fierce calm, while the pictorial matter—thick impasto, intense brushstrokes—builds a body that does not offer itself: it imposes itself.

Gold appears as a scar-luxury: gold leaf applied to the skin, not to adorn, but to mark a price. The flowers, painted with an almost insolent gesture of delicacy, contrast with the reddish traces that cross the composition: they are not literal blood, they are memory.
