Description:

The Leather Prophet belongs to Santograil Media's neoarchetypes program and is part of the Drive and Darkness wing, where the body, shadow, and desire become visual language.

The work features a male performer in full stage trance, suspended above a red stage, with bare torso, black leather pants, and an open golden shirt like a moving cloak. The figure appears not as a celebrity or a recognizable portrait, but as an archetype: the musician transformed into an officiant, the body transformed into a hymn, the stage transformed into an altar.

Its visual language responds to a ritualistic neo-expressionism of the stage. The brushstroke is gestural, intense, and dramatic; red, black, and gold build an atmosphere of elegant excess, where sensuality is presented not as vulgar exhibition, but as scenic energy, bodily tension, and symbolic presence.

Smoke, hinted instruments, and a dark background sustain a scene charged with theatricality. Everything seems to happen in a suspended moment: the jump, the voice, the leather, the broken light, the body open to the danger of the song.
