The Broken Halo presents a body transformed into an altar.

DESCRIPTION:

An androgynous figure of tense beauty, illuminated by an unforgiving Baroque chiaroscuro. The light—unique, lateral, ceremonial—outlines the skin as if sanctifying it and, at the same time, exposing it.

The fractured halo is not an adornment: it is a judgment. The stigmata appear as discreet, almost intimate marks, and the veil's transparency sustains the play between the sacred and the profane without falling into the literal. The wine, smoke, and stone mark the scene with an uncomfortable solemnity: a liturgy where desire offers no apologies.

This work belongs to Impulse and Darkness, where shadow is not hidden, but consecrated.
