BEFORE THE KISS
Gallery: Ephemeral Light · Impressionism - Contemporary Luminism · Curator: Adrian Thomas
It hasn't happened yet. And it is already written.
-
DESCRIPTION:
Before the Kiss captures that exact second when desire is still a promise, but the body has already decided. Two figures hold each other in a close embrace, with the light behind them like a soft fire that outlines skin, hair, and breath. There is no rush: there is gravity.
The brushstroke is light, almost ethereal, as if the scene were unfolding within a memory. The translucent dress does not seek exhibition; it functions as a language of light: it reveals without shouting, hints without falling. Here, eroticism is atmosphere, not artifice.
This work belongs to the Ephemeral Light wing, where Santograil works with the instant as material: beauty not as a pose, but as the exact point where a story is about to begin.

Recommended Exhibition Guide
SANTOGrail Media recommends this work for exhibition formats up to 60 × 80 cm, with professional printing on fine art paper or artistic canvas.
As a curatorial criterion, we suggest:
- professional quality fine art paper or artistic canvas
- pigmented inks
- simple frames in matte black, natural wood, or off-white
- LED lighting, without direct sunlight
- a presentation where the work can breathe visually
For works printed on paper, framing with acrylic or UV-protected glass is suggested, with adequate separation between the artwork and the protective surface.
The final appreciation will depend on the medium, the lab, the lighting, and the exhibition space.
